The brief called for an office pavilion that provided the maximum lettable floor area, whilst remaining appropriate to its site and context and offering architectural quality, not simply a further formulaic example of a ubiquitous building type. The extensive use of cedar rainscreen cladding and earthy render responds to the surrounding fields and woodland, with full height windows enhancing the connection between inside and out.
